Job description

You will be responsible to drive the ambulance(s) and van in accordance to all road safety and traffic rules.

You will ensure the safe loading/ unloading and transport of patients, staff, goods and equipment to and from designated locations.

You will perform duties pertaining to care and maintenance of the vehicles, including cleanliness and routine safety inspections to ensure the vehicles are in good working condition before use.

Requirements:

  • At least Secondary education with credit in English.

  • Possess Class 3 driving licence with a good driving track record.

  • Minimum 2 years’ of experience in driving a van or other large vehicle.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications would be an advantage.

  • Able to perform 3 rotating shifts and mortuary duties as required.

  • Able to be certified in defensive driving course and CPR/AED usage.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with all levels of staff.
