Job summary

Element Materials Technology in Singapore is seeking a Drilling Operator to join our expanding team. You will perform routine and non-routine machining assignments and ensure timely and accurate test results under direct supervision.

The role is based in Kaki Bukit, Singapore. You will operate drilling rigs, collect soil and rock samples, assist geologists with in-situ soil testing, and install borehole instruments while following lab safety and ISO 17025 guidelines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical bias and able to operate equipment safely.
• Experience in engineering or mechanical testing environment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 quality management systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling rig and perform drilling process safely and efficiently.
• Collect high-quality soil and rock samples.
• Assist geologist with in-situ soil testing.
• Install borehole instruments such as water stand pipe, piezometer and inclinometer.
• Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks to ensure rig readiness.
• Follow safe work procedures and maintain workplace safety.
