Job summary

A leading geotechnical engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Drafter to produce quality tender and project drawings. The role involves preparing necessary drawings, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to company standards. Candidates should hold a degree or diploma and have at least 3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD being essential. Strong communication and teamwork skills are desired.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of construction methods and processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender drawings as requested by Managing Director or General Manager.
• Prepare project drawings as requested by the Project team.
• Update drawings in accordance with procedures.
• Check and review drawings and illustrations.
• Maintain proper records of project drawings.

Job Scope:

· To carry out drafting work and to ensure that tender & project drawings are produced with quality and on schedule

Core Responsibilities:

· Prepare tender drawings as requested by Managing Director or General Manager

· Prepare project drawings as requested by the Project team

· Prepare tender & project drawings in accordance with the Company’s standard for documentation

· Update drawings in accordance with procedures

· Check and review drawings and illustrations

· Maintain proper records, updates of project drawings and documentation to ensure easy retrieval

· Understand construction methods and processes

· Willing to go project sites if required

Technical Skills:

· Degree or Diploma preferred with minimum 3 years of relevant experience

· Proficient in AutoCAD and other related software

Soft Skills:

· Good interpersonal and communication skills

· Good team player
