Job summary

A leading company in engineering and product development is seeking a Drafter. This role involves creating dimensioned drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma/Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting, with proficiency in AutoCAD. You will work closely with various teams to ensure accurate and efficient designs, contributing to the development of innovative products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Autodesk certification preferred.
• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to create simple wiring diagrams is a plus.

About the role:

This Drafter to support engineering and product development by creating dimensioned drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation. Responsible for creating mechanical and electrical drawings of low complexity using 3D CAD system and associated BOM via ERP system.

Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models and detailed drawings based on engineer and customer input.

• Assist in component design, including library parts and assemblies.

• Generate parts lists for new products.

• Create catalog pages, illustrations, and animations.

• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Quality teams on design-related task.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Drafting or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or CAD software.

• Autodesk certification is preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with other teams.

• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to create simple wiring diagrams is a plus.

• Prior related internship experience is advantageous.
