Job summary

A leading company in construction solutions is seeking a skilled Drafter who will prepare detailed drawings and specifications for various projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have at least three years of relevant experience. This role involves coordinating with clients and site staff to ensure accuracy in documentation and design.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of related working experience in construction and engineering drafting.
• Minimum grade C in GCE 'O' levels in English.
• Experience in construction and MEP domains highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dry and wet works keyplan and shop drawings.
• Attend site meetings and translate discussions to drawings.
• Coordinate with clients and site personnel on drawing issues.

Job description

A. Work Description

1. Prepare both dry-works and wet-works keyplan, detailed shop drawings/As-built, and specifications with position instructions and comments into drawings wherever necessary

2. Create, read, update, and delete 2D & 3D drawings

3. Attend site meeting/site walk and translate to drawings

4. Coordinate with clients on details and other related matters

5. Coordinate with Site Personnel for drawing issues

6. Prepare site paperwork and other related issues

7. Help in admin work necessarily

8. Any ad-hoc task as assigned

B. Skills Requirements

1. Must understand and proficient in AutoCAD drawing

2. Experience in construction and MEP domains

3. Good interpersonal skills and able to work as a team

4. Attention to details

5. At least 3 years' experience of related working experiences

6. Diploma from Singapore or GCE 'O' Level with relevant experience in construction and engineering drafting is highly preferred

7. MInimum grade C in GCE 'O' levels from Singapore or equivalent overseas in the English language

8. An Autocad certification from a Polytechnic or ITE in Singapore will be highly advantageous
