Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compile DP, FMEA, DP Trials and vessel assurance technical reports.
• Convert engineers' field notes, test results and technical information into clear and professional reports.
• Review reports for accuracy, consistency, completeness and formatting.
• Coordinate with DP Engineers and Consultants to clarify technical information and obtain missing details.
• Maintain and update technical report templates and documentation standards.
• Organise and maintain project documentation, records and supporting materials.

• Support the preparation and compilation of technical drawings, test results and project documentation.
• Assist project teams with documentation during vessel trials or overseas assignments when required.

About the Role

We are looking for a DP Project Engineer – Technical Report Writing Specialist to support our engineering and project teams in preparing and managing technical documentation for DP (Dynamic Positioning), FMEA and vessel assurance projects.

This role is primarily focused on technical report writing, documentation and coordination with engineers. The successful candidate should be comfortable understanding technical information and converting engineering data, test results and field notes into clear, structured and professional reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and compile DP, FMEA, DP Trials and vessel assurance technical reports.

• Convert engineers' field notes, test results and technical information into clear and professional reports.

• Review reports for accuracy, consistency, completeness and formatting.

• Coordinate with DP Engineers and Consultants to clarify technical information and obtain missing details.

• Maintain and update technical report templates and documentation standards.

• Good communication skills and willingness to coordinate with engineers and project teams.

• Willing to occasionally support project documentation during vessel trials or overseas assignments, when required.
