Saudi Aramco is seeking a seasoned Business Development Specialist to join the Downstream Origination Department. The role focuses on screening and origination of investment opportunities in refining, petrochemicals, trading, retail, and logistics, culminating in negotiated, funded deals.

Expatriate assignment based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities spanning due diligence, valuation, structuring and commercial agreements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management or Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, business development, transaction execution, and project financing.
• Downstream industry experience (refining, petrochemicals, retail, lubricants) preferred.
• Experience with due diligence, valuation, structuring and negotiations is required.
• PMI/ CMA/ CFA certifications are preferred.

Aufgaben

• Screen and originate potential investment opportunities in refining, petrochemicals, trading, retail, logistics, storage and lubricants; manage due diligence and deal progression.
• Execute approved transactions including initiation, due diligence, valuation, structuring and negotiations of proposed deals.
• Lead negotiations to secure deals aligned with Saudi Aramco’s parameters; assemble offerings and coordinate with SMEs for MoU/LOI.
• Ensure compliance with process stage gates and approvals; manage contract payments and variations within limits.
• Develop resource and funding plans to transform proposals from concept to closed deals; lead business planning and economic modeling.
