Job summary

A technology company in Singapore is seeking a skilled individual to own and enhance the architecture of their Data Analytics Platform. Responsibilities include managing relationships with technology partners, improving system performance, and ensuring data governance. Ideal candidates will have experience in Google Cloud, BI tools, and possess architect-level technical knowledge of databases and Data Governance tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing a modern Data Analytics Platform in Google Cloud.
• Architect level knowledge in relational databases and DataLake.
• Technical knowledge of Looker and other BI Tools.

Responsibilities

• Owns and supports technology relationships for Data Analytics Platform.
• Continuously improve the architecture and manage the lifecycle of the platform.
• Design enhancements to improve performance, availability, and reliability.

Job description

• Owns the technology relationships & supports technology thought leadership
• Continuously improve the architecture of Data Analytics Platform
• Drives research, case studies, and prototypes on leading-edge technologies and how they can be leveraged.
• Develops proof of concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies and makes recommendations.
• Develops, enhances and enforces system standards, best practices and guidelines.
• Designs and/or Proposes enhancements to improve the performance, availability and reliability of the cloud computing environment for Data Analytics Platform.
• Accountable for the system architecture of the enterprise-wide Data Analytics Platform.
• Work with internal and external system architects and technicians to keep the architecture of the Data Analytics Platform healthy and elastic.
• Manage the lifecycle of the Data Analytics Platform and maintain plans for the next 5 years.
• Monitor the system performance of the Data Analytics Platform to always meet the service levels.
• Keep the Data Analytics Platform stable and maximize the availability.
• Manage the Processes and Guidelines on Data Governance.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience to design and implement a modern Data Analytics Platform in Google Cloud and similar BI experiences
• Architect level technical knowledge of relational databases, DataLake and Google Cloud BigQuery
• Architect level technical knowledge of Looker and other BI Tools
• Administrator level knowledge of Collibra or other Data Governance Tool
