Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore invites a skilled Dot Net Developer to join our contract team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET Framework/Core, SQL Server, and REST APIs, with exposure to DevOps pipelines and cloud readiness.

The role requires hands-on coding, architecture input, and collaboration with business analysts, QA, and product teams. Onsite in Singapore, 12-month renewable contract with opportunity for extension.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Experience with C#, REST APIs, and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the domain knowledge custodian for existing applications, providing technical guidance and context to the team on system architecture, business logic, and historical design decisions.
• Design and develop software using waterfall/Agile methodology.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues by developing scripts and SQL queries.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and QA for requirements analysis, user stories, and test automation.
• Provide estimates for stories or other work units.
• Work with DevOps on CI/CD build and release automation.
• Create functional specifications and system design documents.
• Convert acceptance criteria into automated unit tests and other test documents.
• Support production issues and BAU activities.
• Involve in application deployment to various environments and cloud/on-prem setups.
• Apply AI coding tools to support development, testing, and code reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the domain knowledge custodian for existing applications, providing technical guidance and context to the team on system architecture, business logic, and historical design decisions.
• Solution the design and develop the software using waterfall/Agile methodology.
• Perform investigation, troubleshoot issues by developing s, SQL queries.
• Work closely and collaborate with the Business Analysts and Quality Engineers/application testers for requirement analysis and user stories elaboration, test automation, bug fixes etc.
• Provide estimates for stories or other work units.
• Work with deployment team/DevOps team on setting up continuous integration, build and release automation.
• Create functional specifications and system design documents.
• Convert acceptance criteria into automated unit tests cases and create other test documents.
• Support production issues and other BAU activities.
• Support application setup in Cloud or on-premises.
• Involve in application deployment to the various environments.
• Apply AI coding tools such as Copilot and Coder AI to support development, testing, and code reviews.
• Use automation to improve development efficiency. This includes build, test, and deployment activities.
• Leverage AI assistance to improve code quality. This covers refactoring, defect resolution, and documentation.
• Demonstrate willingness to adopt new AI and automation tools where relevant to work outcomes.

What we are looking for

• Technical expertise in .Net Framework, .Net core.
• Demonstrable skills in C#, MS SQL, REST API, DevOps CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Git, CloudBees).
• Relevant software development certifications, e.g. Microsoft Certified Solution Developer for Dynamics or equivalent.
• Cloud certifications in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding and completion of projects using waterfall/Agile methodology.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resource to application stack traces.
• Track record in implementing systems with high availability, high performance, high security hosted at various data centers or hybrid cloud environments will be an advantage.
