An established industry player in luxury hospitality seeks a dedicated Guest Services Associate. In this role, you will create memorable experiences for guests by providing exceptional service, assisting with their needs, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, transporting luggage, and communicating property amenities. Greet and escort guests to rooms. Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property. Inform guests of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities. Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services). Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area. Assist with luggage storage and retrieval. Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including helping with luggage. Provide directions to guests. Arrange transportation (e.g., taxi, shuttle, limousine) and record requests as needed. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.
Follow all company policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions. Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate professionally and answer phones appropriately. Develop positive relationships with colleagues. Comply with quality standards. Read and verify information in various formats. Respond promptly, moving as required. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds unaided, and over 75 pounds with assistance. Navigate over uneven surfaces, stairs, and ramps. Reach overhead and below knees, including bending and twisting. Perform other duties as assigned.
