Job summary

A leading company in the IT sector is seeking an Application Maintenance Specialist to manage daily operations and ensure high availability of domain software. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science and 2-5 years of experience in application maintenance. The ideal candidate will also possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to fast-moving technology trends. Additional experience in VMware or Azure and knowledge in Energy management or Micro-Grid will be advantageous.

Job description

Responsibilities

· Manage the daily operation, monitoring, and optimization of domain software to ensure high availability and stability.

· Respond to and resolve technical issues within domain application, including troubleshooting and repairs.

· Help applications developed by company go to production

· Provide governance in application maintenance and software deployment

· Coordinate between product, project, customer for product related issues

· Feedback issues to product teams for better product enablement

· Maintaining a professional demeanor with clients and colleagues.

· Build capability as domain SME in both IT and business knowledge. e.g. Energy management/Micro-Grid

· Software deployment and upgrade where necessary

· Write and maintain operational documentation, troubleshooting guides, and related technical materials.

Job Requirement (Must Have Skill)

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent

· 2-5 years’ experience in Application Maintenance

· Able to handle fast moving technology trend.

Good to Have

· VMware and/or Azure experience will be a big plus.

· Domain experience is a plus (Renewables, Energy management, Micro-Grid)

· Chinese speaking and reading would be a big plus.

Technical / Professional Skills

· Rich experience on database ( Mysql, Redis, TSDB, etc.)

· Hands-on experience on Linux commands, web debugging skills and issue investigation
