  • Manage distribution compensation accounting and ensure timely payments.
  • Handle month-end and year-end closings with compliance.
  • Oversee incentive schemes and audit contacts for documentation.
  • Oversee deferred and long-term incentive schemes.
  • Serve as the main audit contact for compensation matters.
  • Maintain and update SOPs and risk registers.
  • Support non-agency channel payments through Coupa.
  • Address compensation-related queries.
  • Participate in projects and system enhancements.
  • Manage regulatory filings and tax submissions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in accounting efficiency.
Job description
Responsibilities
  • Contract role
  • Manage end-to-end distribution compensation accounting, ensuring accurate and timely payments, postings, and reconciliations across all channels.
  • Handle month-end and year-end closings, including journal entries, provisions, amortizations, and related schedules in compliance with accounting policies.
  • Maintain and implement compensation accounting rules within systems (e.g., Life Asia, Group Asia, Datahub) in line with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee deferred and long-term incentive schemes, including proper accounting treatment and reconciliation.
  • Serve as the main audit contact for all distribution compensation matters and ensure full documentation and process transparency.
  • Maintain and update SOPs, risk registers, and process controls to strengthen compliance and operational integrity.
  • Support non-agency channel payments and invoice settlements through Coupa.
  • Address compensation-related queries from internal stakeholders and distribution partners.
  • Participate in projects and system enhancements, including UAT, issue resolution, and documentation of business requirements.
  • Manage regulatory filings and tax submissions (e.g., IRAS reporting, GST self-billing for agents).
  • Drive continuous improvement in accounting efficiency, accuracy, and process governance.
