Job summary

A food service company in Singapore is looking for a kitchen assistant to handle dishwashing duties, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper food safety in a Halal environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically fit, and able to work in a team. Previous kitchen experience is a plus. This role requires working on weekends and public holidays, alongside a structured weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus.
• Physically fit; able to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads (up to 20kg).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other kitchen equipment.
• Ensure all items are stored in their proper places after cleaning.
• Maintain dishwashing area, sinks and floor clean and organized.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage appropriately.
• Report any faulty or damaged equipment to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards in a Halal kitchen environment.
