Job summary
OCBC Bank invites undergraduates in IT/Data Analytics/CS to join as a Regional Disaster Recovery Intern in Singapore. You will support initiatives to keep banking systems available during disruptions, work with data analytics, reporting, process improvements, and automation projects while gaining exposure to enterprise DR practices.
You’ll collaborate with technology professionals across Group Technology Services, develop dashboards, analyze recovery metrics, and contribute to knowledge
Qualifications
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in IT, data analytics, CS or related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven mindset.
- Familiarity with Excel, SQL and basic scripting is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform trend and gap analysis by reviewing incident data and DR exercise results.
- Help build and enhance central dashboards to track DR readiness and metrics.
- Analyse data to provide insights for resilience and decision making.
- Assist in maintaining the Disaster Recovery Book of Work and knowledge bases.
- Support knowledge management to keep documentation accurate and up-to-date.
- Review DR checklists to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Support automation initiatives to speed recovery times.
- Collaborate with technology teams on DR readiness improvements.
