Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm known for hands-on problem solving. The Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) delivers private equity and corporate due diligence, assessing earnings quality, cash flows and working capital to support investment decisions.

The team conducts detailed analysis, prepares comprehensive reports, and collaborates with operational, tax and IT professionals to deliver integrated solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting and/or related major.
• CPA or CA certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with core financial due diligence, helping to identify key risks and potential deal breakers, assess strengths and weaknesses against industry benchmarks, and evaluate potential transactions.
• Analyze detailed financial statement information including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow, and synthesize data into actionable insights for client discussions.
• Support construction of deal-oriented reports and presentations highlighting financial, commercial and other findings for investment decisions.
• Engage in meetings with target company management and client personnel, and help manage day-to-day execution and client relationships.
• Act as a mentor to Associates, Senior Associates and Managers and help groom team capabilities.

Education
