Based at our Corporate Office in Singapore, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as Director, Technical Services (ID / Architect).
Job Responsibilities
The Director, Technical Services (ID / Architect) is seen as primarily support mechanism to the General Managers and properties’ Engineering team in the field, providing them with advice and guidance on operational issues and technical consultancy.
Assist the Vice President, Technical Services in the project planning and review that result in meeting/exceeding the goals of the hotel and PPHG.
Oversee projects and the aspects of the Technical Services within the PPHG Group
Provide assistance and support to existing/new hotels and resorts
Provide assistance and support to development team
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate and take full responsibility of a number of hotel projects assigned to him/her and ensures a successful project handover to Hotel Operations.
Review and coordinate Front-of-the-House and Back-of-the-House layouts and specifications based on approved designs and specifications and ensure they are functionally practical on site.
Ensure compliance to the company branding specifications and design guide.
Liaise with all relevant parties and operating Departments on issues relating to the Project.
Review drawings and specifications submitted by design consultants.
Be the main point of contact for Pan Pacific Hotels Group for owners, corporate office, hotel operation and consultants.
Responsible for overall quality assurance, in line with specified designs and company standards.
Be conversant with and have an ability to interpret Architectural, ID and M&E drawings and provide feedback accordingly.
Liaise with Project team in all project matters including critical path and project completion timelines.
Responsible for reviewing ID and FF&E packages including shop drawings, mock-ups and prototypes.
Attend mock-up room evaluation sessions and prepare mock-up room review reports.
Advise and support the Project Managers to ensure completion of works with the approved total development cost budget for the various projects.
Ensure adherence to the project completion timelines.
Proactively monitor progress and take necessary steps to ensure variations are aligned to the company branding specifications and service standards.

Supports the Mission, Purpose and Values of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
Complies with all relevant Workplace Safety & Health practices and maintains a safe workplace for all associates.
Adheres to grooming and hygiene standards set by the Hotel.
Exercises responsible behaviour at all times to uphold the image and reputation of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Hotel and department.
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The Person:
8-10 years of working experience in a similar role with a luxury environment with strong familiarity with all phases and aspects of the project management process
Possess a Minimum a Diploma in Interior Design/Architectural
Extremely detail oriented
Organised, able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines efficiently
Project management in Construction in hospitality industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels
A team player and ability to meet tight deadlines independent and meticulous
Based in Singapore and willing to travel extensively
Fluent communication in English and Mandarin, both written and oral.
Computer literacy to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Project
