Job Overview

Reporting to the Global VP, Talent Management & Talent Acquisition, the Director, Talent in India will serve as the local leader for all India-based Talent employees and leaders, working closely with the global Talent Leadership team and functional leaders. This position is responsible for the overall Talent function for iCIMS in India. The Director, Talent will partner with the India leadership team and global functional leaders to drive strategic talent priorities, deliver talent services, and support the entire talent lifecycle for India-based employees and leadership.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide leadership and guidance to the India-based talent team, driving strategic talent priorities in collaboration with stakeholders and global talent colleagues.
  2. Develop and implement the people strategy for India in partnership with the VP, Talent Management & Acquisition, and global Talent leadership.
  3. Manage the employee lifecycle for India employees, aligned with iCIMS values.
  4. Participate in business planning and strategy, providing people strategy plans to support business goals.
  5. Foster employee engagement and culture initiatives in partnership with local leadership.
  6. Create and support employee growth and career development initiatives.
  7. Promote open communication and feedback channels to build trust and loyalty.
  8. Ensure proactive communication and change management across teams, implementing HR principles smoothly.
  9. Act as a change agent and coach managers on change management, employee engagement, and capability building.
  10. Collaborate with global, regional, and local HR teams to improve talent quality and organizational design.
  11. Lead HR projects that add value to the India team, aligned with global talent priorities.
  12. Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management.
  13. Serve as a trusted advisor to India business leaders.
Qualifications
  • 10-12 years of progressive HR leadership experience in India, preferably in a technology or product-focused environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a dynamic, matrixed environment with growth and change.
  • Proven ability to partner with business leaders to drive HR outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
  • Experience in change management and broad HR knowledge including recruitment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and training.
  • Flexible and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
  • Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset.
