Cisco Systems (USA) Pte. Ltd. seeks a senior leader to head the APJC Programs Office, guiding the governance and execution of regional strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of related experience with Bachelor’s degree OR 12+ years with Master’s degree OR 8+ years with PhD.
• 4+ years of supervisory or cross-functional leadership experience.
• Experience leading regional or global strategic programs in a complex tech organization.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software, technical sales, and customer success.

Job description

Leads the APJC Programs Office within the Splunk APJC Technology & Strategy Office (TSO), driving the governance, execution and operational discipline required to deliver the region’s most important strategic initiatives. Works closely with the Head of Splunk APJC Technology & Strategy Office, regional leadership, divisional teams, functional leaders and corporate stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into executable programs with clear ownership, measurable outcomes and sustained business impact. Transforms regional priorities into structured program portfolios, operating cadences and execution plans that enable APJC to scale consistently across divisions, architectures and markets. Facilitates cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product & Technology, Customer Experience, Marketing, Partners, Operations and Finance to ensure alignment, surface risks early, resolve dependencies and maintain progress against critical business objectives. Specialization and Focus - Oversees the APJC strategic programs portfolio, including adoption acceleration, innovation execution, technical sales transformation, roadmap activation, partner and field enablement, and other cross-functional initiatives under the APJC TSO. Executive Engagement and Accountability - Engages regularly with senior regional and functional leaders to drive alignment, decision-making and follow-through. Provides visibility into program health, risks, dependencies, outcomes and executive actions required. The Internal Operating Process - Establishes the governance model, cadence, reporting structure and execution discipline required to move programs from strategy to implementation. Ensures initiatives are clearly scoped, resourced, measured and reviewed. Corporate Interlock - Medium to high corporate interlock. Leverages relationships across regional and global teams to align APJC priorities with Cisco and Splunk corporate initiatives, remove blockers, influence priorities and accelerate execution. What You’ll Do:

• Lead the APJC Programs Office and establish the operating model for regional strategic program execution across the APJC Technology & Strategy Office.
• Partner with the Head of Splunk APJC Technology & Strategy Office and senior leadership team to convert strategic priorities into clear programs, milestones, ownership models and measurable outcomes.
• Build and manage the governance framework for APJC strategic initiatives, including program reviews, executive reporting, risk management, dependency tracking and decision escalation.
• Guide and develop program management resources, including the Senior Programs Manager, to ensure disciplined execution across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product & Technology, Customer Experience, Marketing, Partners, Operations and Finance to ensure programs are coordinated and outcome-driven.
• Ensure APJC strategic programs are connected to regional business priorities, including growth, adoption, renewal protection, technical win rates, innovation execution, partner activation and field productivity.
• Establish consistent mechanisms for program intake, prioritization, sponsorship, execution tracking and benefits realization.
• Create executive-ready materials, dashboards and updates that provide clear visibility into program progress, risks, decisions and business impact.
• Identify execution gaps, conflicting priorities, resource constraints and organizational dependencies, and work with senior stakeholders to resolve them.
• Support the maturation of the APJC TSO operating model by improving how strategic initiatives are launched, governed, measured and scaled across the region.
• Act as a trusted operating partner to senior leaders by bringing structure, clarity and accountability to complex cross-functional initiatives.

Who You Are

• Bachelors + 15 years of related experience, Masters + 12 years of related experience, or PhD + 8 years of related experience.
• Also requires 4+ years of supervisory, program leadership or cross-functional team leadership experience.
• Experience leading regional or global strategic programs, business operations, transformation initiatives or chief-of-staff style operating functions in a complex technology organization.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software, technical sales, customer success, partner ecosystems, field operations or go-to-market execution.
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior executives, influence without direct authority and drive alignment across multiple functions, geographies and stakeholder groups.
• Proven track record of managing complex program portfolios, establishing governance models, tracking business outcomes and driving execution discipline at scale.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex issues into clear executive updates, decision papers, operating reviews and action plans.
• Experience leading or developing program managers, operations managers or cross-functional execution teams.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, structure complex problems and bring clarity, momentum and accountability to strategic initiatives.
