About the Role

They are seeking an experienced Director of SoC Design Engineering to lead and drive the development of complex, high-performance System-on-Chip solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the SoC design engineering team through all stages of chip development—from architecture, RTL design, verification, and synthesis to tape-out.
• Drive technical strategy and roadmap execution aligned with product and business goals.
• Collaborate closely with architecture, software, verification, physical design, and product teams to ensure first-pass silicon success.
• Oversee resource planning, project schedules, and risk mitigation strategies across multiple SoC projects.
• Maintain a culture of innovation, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Foster team growth through hiring, mentoring, and performance development.
• Represent the SoC engineering function in executive reviews, customer engagements, and industry forums.

Requirements

• Degree or post graduate qualification in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 15 years of experience in digital IC/SoC design, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Deep technical expertise in SoC architecture, RTL design (SystemVerilog/VHDL), IP integration, power/performance optimization, and design methodologies.
• Proven track record of successful tape-outs of complex SoCs at advanced process nodes (e.g., 7nm, 5nm).
• Experience working with EDA tools and flows (Synopsys, Cadence, etc.).
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
