Job summary

Mastercard Singapore seeks a Director, Services Business Development (Innovation & Digital Assets) to drive the innovation agenda within the Services Incubator, focusing on Digital Assets across Asia Pacific.

You will lead regional initiatives, collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to shape client strategies, and build executive relationships to close opportunities while upholding Mastercard's standards.

Qualifications

• Innovation background including digital and AI transformation, UI/UX design, design thinking, Gen AI.
• Experience in digital and consultative sales and managing senior client stakeholders.
• Ability to develop compelling sales narratives and close deals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• MBA is preferred but can be substituted for strong experience in the above topics.
• Consulting experience from a top-rated consulting firm.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Working with broader Services sales organization to access client needs and strategic agenda. Use Services Innovation capabilities to differentiate and expand Mastercard Innovation business with customers, including new product, services, partners, etc.
• Leading key regional and local innovation initiatives to grow the Services P&L
• Support rest of the Services sales team on end-to-end sales efforts from research and storyboarding to client presentations and contract signing
• Bring in new thought leadership to establish Services brand across key customer stakeholders
• Work with Delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of innovation projects sold
• Achieve sales targets responsibly and ethically, and with customer needs in mind
• Build and inculcate relationships to become a trusted advisor to Senior/Executive level clients

All About You

• Innovation background including digital and AI transformation, UI/UX design, design thinking, Gen AI, wearable technologies, new approaches to customer engagement.
• A background digital assets would be a plus.
• Experience in digital and consultative sales and managing senior client stakeholders.
• Ability to develop compelling sales narratives in influencing sales closure. Demonstrated ability to initiate, develop, and close a sale.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• MBA is preferred but can be substituted for strong experience in the above topics.
• Consulting experience from a top-rated consulting firm
• Highest level of self-motivation with a hunting-attitude
• Strong problem solving skills and first principles thinking
