RESPONSIBILITIES
This role manages the APJ Sales Engineering team, including Japan, South Korea, ANZ, and ASEAN.
- Lead & Inspire Your Team: Build and grow a top-tier team of sales engineers committed to excellence. Coach, mentor, and inspire your team to exceed sales targets. Set ambitious goals and guide your team to achieve them. Foster a culture of success through continuous feedback, evaluations, and action plans.
- Be the Technical Authority: Master the company's groundbreaking products and services to stay ahead in the market. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Empower the sales team with technical expertise and support to close deals confidently. Deliver impactful product demonstrations and presentations that showcase the solutions' value.
- Drive Sales Success: Collaborate closely with the sales team, VP of Sales, and Customer Success to identify customer needs and new growth opportunities. Craft tailored technical proposals and presentations. Lead technical assessments to ensure customer solutions are top-quality. Provide ongoing technical support throughout the sales cycle to help the team meet quotas and grow the business.
REQUIREMENTS
Leadership & Management Skills:
- Team Leadership: Over 5 years of presales leadership experience. Proven ability to lead high-performing solution engineering teams, motivate team members, and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Project Management: Skilled in planning, organizing, and executing complex BI projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery within scope.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify obstacles and craft technical and business solutions to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Effective Communication: Excellent at explaining complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly, fluent in English.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, anticipating needs, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Technical Expertise:
- BI/Analytics Mastery: Deep understanding of BI platforms, ETL processes, and database systems used in Analytics/BI. Knowledge of architecture, components, and capabilities, along with awareness of the latest AI and cloud technologies.
- Cloud Technologies: Comfortable with AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms, leveraging their services for scalable solutions.
- AI Innovation: Up-to-date with cutting-edge AI technologies, including LLMs and ChatGPT, and capable of harnessing these for business impact.
