Title and Summary

Director Roles in Cyber Security Fusion Center (Express of Interest)

Fusion Center Director

Role Overview: Oversee the operations and strategic direction of the Fusion Center, ensuring effective collaboration, threat intelligence sharing, and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage the Fusion Center team.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for threat detection and response.
  3. Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field, with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or threat intelligence, and strong leadership and management skills.

Additional Requirements: Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA), experience in a fusion center or similar environment, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Fusion Center AP Policy Lead

Role Overview: Lead the development and implementation of public policy strategies to combat cybercrime, working closely with government agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Advocate for effective cybercrime policies.
  2. Represent the organization in policy discussions.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and promote best practices in cybersecurity.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, communication, public policy, or law, at least 7-9 years of experience in public sector, government affairs, or policy; strong understanding of governments, NGOs.

Additional Requirements: Excellent communication, public speaking, and negotiation skills; ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders; and experience in policy advocacy and development.

Strategic Skills: Ability to analyze complex policy issues, develop strategic policy recommendations, and influence policy decisions at national and international levels.

Fusion Center Senior Counsel

Role Overview: Provide legal support and guidance for the Fusion Center, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing legal risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Draft and review legal documents.
  2. Provide legal advice on cybersecurity and data protection issues.
  3. Manage legal disputes.

Qualifications: Law degree with specialization in cybersecurity or data protection; 7-10 years experience in legal practice.

Additional Requirements: Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple legal matters.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
