Job Responsibilities
Strategic Procurement Leadership
Develop and execute end-to-end procurement strategies for facilities-related services and capital projects (e.g. maintenance, A&A, energy, sustainability etc.) that aligns with overall business goals.
Staying abreast of market trends/conditions and procurement industry trends and best practices.
Value Creation
Drive cost efficiency, operational resilience, and supplier innovation to enhance both cost savings (bottom line) and service quality/revenue opportunities (top line).
Facilities Expertise
Leverage deep technical knowledge of facilities management to improve sourcing strategies, vendor performance management, contract negotiations, and capital planning.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, department heads, and operational teams. Translate business needs into procurement strategies and influence key decision-making.
Supplier Relationship & Risk Management
Build and manage a robust vendor ecosystem. Negotiate long-term agreements, ensure compliance, and mitigate supply and operational risks.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of procurement and facilities professionals. Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Analytics & Reporting
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensure data-driven decisions, and present results to executive leadership.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
Minimum bachelor’s degree in M&E Engineering; Facilities Management or relevant field of study.
Experience
Extensive commercial sourcing and procurement experience, ideally within facilities management or the construction industry, ideally 20 years of working experience with at least 10 years in a leadership position preferred.
Other Prerequisites
Proven track record of delivering measurable business value through sourcing and procurement.
Strong knowledge of facilities operations, including A&A works, building systems, asset lifecycle, sustainability, and compliance requirements.
Exceptional business acumen and ability to connect procurement strategies with broader organizational goals.
Great negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage stakeholders across complex matrixed environments.
Financially and commercially astute, with experience in making tough decisions.
Proven track record in effective leadership.
