Job Description
Job Purpose
Working closely with and supporting the CEO of Keppel Infrastructure Trust (KIT), this is a key role responsible for managing and driving the performance and resiliency of KIT’s portfolio and investments. The role will be required to work closely with various stakeholders and functional teams across as well as to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns.
Key Responsibilities
Support the CEO in managing KIT’s portfolio and investments, including but not limited to:
- Determining the optimal portfolio construct and capital allocation based on long-term market outlook and other factors
- Refining and executing investment strategies to achieve KIT’s long-term objectives and drive superior risk-adjusted returns
- Leading and planning for the annual board strategy meeting
- Monitoring, evaluating and driving performance of the portfolio to drive returns and yields
- Determine long term strategic plans and options for various investments
- Identify initiatives to drive value and outperformance at portfolio companies
- Undertaking hold vs sell analysis
- Supporting acquisitions and divestments, and asset management of portfolio companies
- Supporting capital raising exercises
- Working with the finance and asset management teams on portfolio reporting
- Supporting investor relation efforts such as engaging and communicating with unitholders and potential investors on KIT’s mandate, investment strategies, performance and plans
Job Requirement
- Possess degree in business, finance, economics or related field disciplines or equivalent
- Minimum 10-12 years of relevant working experience in infrastructure or private equity investments, consultancy or investment banking
- Excellent stakeholder management capability and able to work well across different functions and levels
- Excellent written and oral communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think out of the box, multi-task and work in fast pace dynamic environment
- Strong commercial acumen and high proficiency with financial analysis and modelling
