Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Platform Engineer in Cyber for their Threat Hunt Team. This role involves seeking out attacks against the Morgan Stanley network, engineering detection strategies, and reducing risk to assets.

As a part of the Technology division, you will provide specialist cyber expertise and create solutions that protect the organization’s systems. Responsibilities include automation, server administration, and collaborating effectively with peers across teams.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in platform engineering and server administration.
• Strong experience in analytic techniques using open-source tools.
• Proven ability to automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts on critical services and follow runbooks for troubleshooting.
• Take ownership of tasks and manage time effectively.
• Collaborate with Morgan Stanley teams for hardware installation and troubleshooting.
