With the introduction of new courses such as BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com LLB, LLB, and Engineering programs in Computer Science, AI & ML, and Data Science, the institution is expanding its academic offerings and industry collaborations.Role OverviewThe Director Placement will be responsible for building strong corporate relationships, industry tie-ups, and placement opportunities for students across all programs. The role involves developing a strategic roadmap to enhance employability, internships, and corporate engagements.Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a placement strategy for all existing and new courses. Establish MoUs and industry collaborations for placements, internships, and live projects. Build strong relationships with top recruiters, industry leaders, and HR professionals. Organize campus recruitment drives, industry visits, guest lectures, and career guidance programs. Work closely with faculty and student coordinators to enhance career readiness. Oversee soft skills training, resume building, and interview preparation programs. Track placement statistics, alumni career progress, and employer feedback for continuous improvement. Represent the institution at job fairs, industry forums, and corporate networking events.Qualifications & Experience Masters degree (MBA preferred) with at least 10+ years of experience in placements, corporate relations, or talent acquisition. Proven track record in handling placements at a reputed university or institute. Strong network with HR professionals, recruiters, and industry leaders. Experience in engaging with companies across diverse sectors including healthcare, IT, management, law, and engineering. Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.Preferred Skills Ability to analyze job market trends and align placement efforts accordingly. Strong leadership skills to mentor and guide the placement team.
