Core Responsibilities

This role partners with the Global Procurement organization, comprising about 200 employees worldwide. It provides strategic support to the SVP of Procurement and her leadership team (currently 5 VPs, Senior Directors, and Directors), based in Singapore and reporting to the Head of APAC People Partnering. The role collaborates closely with the Global People Partner for Operations and other PPC Partners, Site Leads, and COEs across regions.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Setting direction and implementing the People agenda in Global Procurement, aligned with PPC and Operations strategies.
  • Supporting organizational transformation within Procurement, including capabilities in Sustainability, Cost Engineering, Resilience, Digitalization, and Technology integration.
  • Facilitating change processes and enabling organizational readiness for strategic goals, including talent management, capability assessment, and engagement initiatives.
  • Acting as a coach and strategic partner to the SVP and procurement leadership, focusing on performance and efficiency.
  • Co-developing leadership capabilities and fostering a unified team culture.
  • Supporting organizational design, talent management, diversity & inclusion, and engagement efforts.
  • Advising people leaders on their team’s people agenda.
  • Leading deployment of core HR processes in collaboration with global CoEs.
  • Managing headcount planning, workforce governance, and recruitment priorities within Procurement.
  • Leveraging CoEs for support in areas like rewards, mobility, and employee relations.

This role is part of the People Partnering team within PPC, responsible for HR, people, business partnering, and local operations, including employee relations, policies, and execution. Key collaborators include Procurement leadership, Operations ELT, and regional partners.

Qualifications:
  • Masters or equivalent experience in business administration (preferred but not mandatory).
  • HR qualification.
  • Over 10 years of experience as an HR generalist in a global, matrix organization.
  • Experience in end-to-end people agenda management in a global matrix setting.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and manage relationships across organizational levels.
  • Strategic understanding of organizational development, HR transformation, and D&I initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Experience analyzing workforce data to inform decisions.
  • Experience leading large-scale transformations.
  • Capability assessment and development experience.
  • Structured, collaborative, and adaptable approach.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders effectively and navigate ambiguity.
