We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Organizational Effectiveness (OE) to join our passionate and dedicated team. Our Organizational Effectiveness team is a tight-knit internal consulting team responsible for running multiple strategic projects across different Business Units, regions, and functions at Edwards. This is a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on a wide variety of functional areas within our multibillion-dollar global organization.

Our ideal candidate possesses a management consulting background with proven experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver strategic projects that are high-profile and fast. This role will partner with Executive Leadership, HR Leaders, and business stakeholders to address the people and organization factors as Edwards scales for growth.

How you will make an impact:

  • Develop, plan, and lead larger organizational effectiveness projects and activities with accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables. Provide direction and guidance to project teams to execute larger projects, process improvements, and/or programs as well as advise and provide recommendations to senior management. Manage resources on a project basis.
  • Consult on high-impact transformational initiatives affecting a larger employee base, multiple business units and/or functions, with focus on the people impact to ensure ROI on significant initiatives.
  • Perform analysis and provide guidance to business partners including obtaining alignment to drive toward solutions from stakeholders relating to organizational decisions.
  • Develop complex organizational effectiveness (e.g., Op Model Organizational Design, Workforce Planning, OCM) strategies for business initiatives that may have global or regional impact.
  • Identify gaps in the organization related to human capital and organizational design and influence and provide guidance to ELT/SLT leaders to ensure effective organizational transitions and to build change.

What you will need (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or other related technical areas and 12 years of previous related experience (e.g., OE/Workforce Planning/Change Management tools and methodologies, including business case analysis, communications, and/or organizational design) Or
  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science or other related technical areas or equivalent in related field with 10 years of experience.

  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and related tools.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
  • Proven success in managing multiple concurrent projects and initiatives.
  • Recognized as an expert in two or more areas (e.g., Organizational Design, OCM, Workforce Planning) with broad-based advanced knowledge within the organization.
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of EW policies, procedures, and requirements as it relates to organizational effectiveness.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage internal and external confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Represents leadership on projects within multiple areas, interfacing with project managers, client groups, and middle management.
  • Consult in project setting within multiple areas, interfacing with low to middle management.
  • Provides leadership to outsourcing partners on a task level, participates on small scale RFP.
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
