A leading company in the MICE industry is seeking a visionary Director of Online Marketing and Product Development. The role involves crafting innovative online strategies, driving product development, and leading a dynamic team to position the organization at the forefront of digital sales. The ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree and extensive experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, and product innovation.
Are you a visionary digital leader with a passion for crafting exceptional online strategies and developing innovative products? We’re looking for a dynamic Director – Online Marketing and Product Development to spearhead online marketing efforts and drive the evolution of the product portfolio, positioning the organization at the forefront of the MICE industry in online sales and services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase online engagement, drive direct bookings, and enhance brand presence across web, social media, and mobile channels.
Develop and accelerate the growth of online sales and servicing.
Oversee the end-to-end product development cycle, from market research and concept design to launch, performance monitoring, and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, IT, and Operations, to align digital campaigns and product initiatives with business goals.
Lead website and e-commerce enhancements to improve user experience, conversion rates, and integration with CRM systems.
Analyze customer data and market trends to identify new opportunities for products, packages, or online offerings that differentiate the brand.
Lead and manage the online Sales and Marketing Team.
Establish KPIs and prepare detailed performance reports for senior management, recommending data-driven improvements.
Who we look for – the ideal profile:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or a related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or product development, ideally within the hospitality, travel, or related industries.
Demonstrated success in taking offline products and services online.
Strong knowledge of social media marketing, Google Analytics, paid media, UX/UI best practices, and online marketing automation tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Innovative mindset with a keen eye for emerging digital trends and technologies.
