About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity to lead the student recruitment strategy at one of Asia’s most dynamic and community-driven international schools. The German European School Singapore (GESS) is seeking a visionary Director of Student Recruitment to shape the next chapter of its growth story.

As the strategic lead for brand positioning, student recruitment and new family experience, you’ll play a central role in positioning GESS as a leading international education provider in Asia. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing, business development and admissions strategies to build brand awareness, drive high-quality leads, and ensure full, healthy grades through a strong pipeline of right-fit applicants.

As a core member of the Senior Management Team, the Director of Student recruitment will play a key role in contributing to the success of the school’s Limitless Learning Strategic Implementation Plan. The Director of Student Recruitment is a leadership position with direct oversight of a multidisciplinary team across marketing, admissions and communications, as well as accountability for CRM management, campaign performance, compliance, budget effectiveness and delivering a seamless, customer-first experience for every prospective family.

What You Will Do

Own the parent experience journeyDesign and refine every touchpoint, from digital awareness campaigns to personalised campus visits, ensuring seamless progression, exceptional service and accurate information

Drive brand awareness & student recruitment strategiesDevelop integrated student attraction strategies in line with the strategic growth initiatives of the school.

Innovate marketing campaigns & collateral

Create high-performing, innovative campaigns and oversee best-in-class collateral, website content and a seamless digital parent experience.

CRM & student recruitment pipeline leadershipBe the authority on HubSpot and admissions systems, maintaining data integrity, forecasting enrolments and delivering weekly/monthly performance reports.

Deliver a best-in-class family experienceLead process design, service-recovery plans and NPS initiatives to foster a warm, supportive welcome and strong community belonging for new parents and supportive experiences for leaving parents

Own the External communication strategyUnderstand, adapt and own the school’s external communication strategy from a ‘One School’ perspective and work collaboratively with management to support alignment with future internal communications strategies. Represent the school at events and networking opportunities aligned with the school’s external communications strategy

What We’re Looking For

10+ years in senior sales, marketing or admissions leadership roles with a successful track record of delivering growth.

Expert in performance marketing channels, CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and data-driven decision making.

Confident communicator and comfortable in being in a highly visible role, negotiator and relationship builder with agencies, partners and internal stakeholders (staff, parents and partners)

Hands on execution on the admissions cycle - campus tours, family/student engagement, open houses.

Energetic, adaptable and solutions-oriented, with a genuine empathy for families navigating the school-choice process.

A talent for collaborating with both teaching and non-teaching staff alike, to align their goals with your own and drive performance

Demonstrable experience in a leadership role within the education sector is essential, preferably in a reputed International School.

Proficiency in German in order to fully engage with the parent community as part of their admissions journey is desirable
