Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Director to lead our commercial growth strategy in APAC. This senior leadership role combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, driving market development, client relationship management, and thought leadership to position Leidar as a trusted advisor to global and regional leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development plans aligned with Leidar’s boutique positioning and global growth strategy.
- Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities with targeted client segments.
- Design and implement market segmentation strategies to accelerate revenue growth.
- Define and deliver sales targets and KPIs.
- Strengthen Leidar’s market positioning by leveraging networks, attending industry events, and leading thought leadership initiatives.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships, ensuring delivery of high-value consultancy services.
- Collaborate with colleagues across global offices to create cross-regional opportunities.
- Provide market intelligence and advise on emerging trends impacting APAC and European markets.

Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive experience in business development, strategic marketing, communications, or client-facing consultancy roles.
- Significant experience working in both Asia and Europe, with a deep understanding of business environments in these regions.
- Proven track record working with European companies operating in APAC or Singaporean companies expanding globally.
- Hands-on experience navigating APAC regulations, business practices, and cultural nuances.
- Strong network of senior decision-makers and industry influencers relevant to Leidar’s services.
- Academic background in business, economics, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualifications are an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional European or Asian languages is advantageous.
- Certifications in AI, design, or strategic marketing/communications would be a plus.
