About Our Client

Our client is an international hotel group.

Job Description

  • Directly supervises the Managers of the operational departments, complying with all Group Policies and internal standards.
  • Responsibilities include employee recruitment and selection, employee integration, on-the-job training, career management, complaints management and problem solving.
  • Ensures that the various Managers correctly develop the employees in their teams, taking into account each of the functions.
  • Replaces the General Manager when needed.
  • Ensures that service standards are met and makes suggestions for improvement to the General Manager.
  • Ensures the efficient management of the various departments, particularly with regard to compliance with the budget and the achievement of objectives.
  • Analyses the P&L in detail on a monthly basis and reports to the General Manager.
  • Creates up-selling strategies, together with the operational departments, in order to leverage sales.
  • Closely monitors the customer and anticipates their needs.
  • Ensures that the group's regulations and standards are applied and complied with.

The Successful Applicant

Holder of a Degree in Management or Hotel Management, you have at least 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry with at least 3 years of experience in a hotel leadership position.
An expatriation experience is requested, preferably in Africa.
Fluency in Portuguese as well as in English is mandatory.
