A leading company in fintech seeks a Director of M&A and Fundraising. This pivotal role involves managing the entire deal lifecycle, providing transaction analysis, and supporting venture fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in investment, exceptional analytical skills, and be well-versed in financial models.
With a focus on innovation and fintech this exciting new role will provide transaction analysis and strategic advice for portfolio investments, venture fundraising and M&A. There will also be a large component of deal screening and market research. This role is particularly attractive as it comprises both buy and sell side and will involve overseeing the full lifecycle of the deal from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Manageentire deal lifecycle from origination through to closure Build and evaluate financial models for deal analysis Provide in depth research and strategic proposalsfor new and existing transactions Deal screeningincluding meeting and engaging with prospects and evaluating opportunities Preparation of fundraising timeline anddocuments, quarterly fund reporting, processing of NDA's and deal commencement procedures
Prerequisites for role:
- 6-9years of investment, fundraising and/or M&A experience either within investment banking, private equity, venture capital or consultancy
- Exceptional analytical, written and verbal skills including advanced excel
- Experience with cashflow modelling and investment valuation techniques - Experience with Fintech and Digital Assets although not a pre-requisite would be highly regarded
