Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Director of Infrastructure Engineering within the Infrastructure Platforms to lead a large area with deep technical knowledge and strategic impact across global operations. You will manage complex programs, influence senior stakeholders, mentor engineers, and drive compliant, secure, and cost-efficient delivery while advancing cloud, automation, and resilience.

This role emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and building high performing teams across functions.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree and 7+ years of applied experience in infrastructure disciplines.
Strong knowledge of load balancing, DNS, routing, switching, WAN, firewalls and proxies.
Knowledge of Zero-Trust, micro-segmentation, SASE architectures & CDN.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and budgets.

Responsibilities

Manages technical areas within infrastructure engineering, collaborates across disciplines.
Directs operational plans and provides broad direction to teams and supervisors.
Manages senior stakeholders and ensures compliance, risk, security, SLAs and business requirements.
Drives multiple complex projects, processes, and initiatives.
Develops and executes the function’s objectives with accountability for outcomes.
Oversees staffing, budget, and relevant profit and loss.
Mentors and coaches junior engineers and technologists.
Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
