Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Refine investment strategy for One Infrastructure, including terms, geography, and opportunity universe.
  • Analyze, originate, structure, negotiate, recommend, and close new deals, including due diligence and legal documentation, in accordance with the Investment Strategy mandated by the Investment Committee.
  • Monitor key markets to source suitable investment opportunities and recommend strategies to deliver long-term risk-adjusted returns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with investment partners, service providers, brokers, and other market participants in targeted key markets.
  • Assist in generating market awareness of Keppel's investment mandate.
  • Plan and implement asset management and investment exit strategies. Responsible for periodic reporting, including quarterly investor reports, annual reports, and bespoke reports regarding assets.
  • Benchmark asset performance against the market to ensure investment return targets are met.
  • Support other specialist groups within Keppel Fund Management and Investment as needed.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Job Requirements

At least 10-12 years of relevant investment experience in fund management or corporate finance/M&A within investment banks or corporate principal investment teams, specializing in power, energy, and/or infrastructure.

Strong academic qualifications.

Proficient in market and industry research related to infrastructure or other private equity assets.

Hands-on, detail-oriented, with strong financial modeling skills and willingness to get involved in detailed work.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Independent, critical thinker with exceptional analytical skills.

Ability to make effective investment and asset management decisions.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively across different functions and levels.

Strong written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and oral communication.

Willing to travel frequently to key markets.
