Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in establishing the strategy, developing the product roadmap and driving the execution with a cross functional team for Visa’s value proposition, digital and innovation products
- Support Country and Market Support Team’s strategies for the market and function including managing alignment between global and regional teams, developing and articulating strategic recommendations, and delivering on all major project milestones
- Manage market research, analysis, and derive market intelligence around digital trends and portfolios to articulate relevant business insights and management considerations on a proactive and timely basis, addressing emerging trends and opportunities related to digital and innovation solutions
- Drive commercialization of digital and innovation solutions to identify leads, support client pitches, maintain pipeline of opportunities, overseeing the implementation process, reporting to senior management on uptake and performance, and working with cross-functional teams to implement and promote products
- Serve as liaison to strategic partners, key clients and stakeholders in support of SG & BN product strategies, programs and objectives
- Manage and meet digital and innovation product business metric performance for SG & BN scorecard
- Lead creation of presentation materials for Visa’s digital and innovation narrative to financial institution, fintech, merchant and acquirer partners, with a view to building strategic and mutually beneficial partnerships through solutioning.
- Support various management events including conferences, major client events, and business reviews – ie Singapore Fintech Festival
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of experience in cards payments industry with strong ecommerce / digital payments experience in relevant markets
- Build strong client narrative to best position our payments and innovation value propositions to external parties
- Season in responding to pitches and strong presentation skills
- Self-starters that are thought leaders with a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines.
- This will require a candidate with an excellent balance of strategic thinking, business acumen, strong execution skills and leadership and influencing skills.
- Ability to explain complicated/technical solutions in layman terms.
- Excellent in solutioning based on client’s pain points
What will also help:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent (MBA preferred)
- Familiar with Value-based selling methodology with strategic focus on impacting ROI
- Demonstrated leadership and collaboration capabilities across a matrixed organization
- A deep understanding of the Visa business model is a plus.
