Our client is a large and established charity and they are looking for an effective fundraising professional to join their team.

Director, Fundraising

Job Summary:

The Director, Fundraising is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure the financial resources necessary to support the charity’s mission and programs. This includes overseeing all fundraising activities such as major gifts, corporate partnerships, foundation grants, individual giving, digital campaigns, events, and legacy giving. The Director leads the fundraising team, manages key donor relationships, and ensures compliance with best practices and ethical fundraising standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the charity’s strategic goals.
  • Lead donor cultivation and stewardship, including high-net-worth individuals, corporates, foundations, and community donors.
  • Oversee fundraising campaigns and events, both physical and digital, to grow recurring and one-time giving.
  • Drive corporate and foundation partnerships, CSR collaborations, and grant applications.
  • Ensure compliance with the Charities Act, Fund-Raising Regulations, and IPC requirements.
  • Manage the fundraising team, set KPIs, and track performance.
  • Report regularly to management and Board on fundraising outcomes and donor engagement.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in fundraising, business development, or partnerships, preferably in non-profit or social sector.
  • Proven track record in securing major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and grants.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with donors and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s fundraising regulations and best practices.
  • Passion for social impact and the mission of the charity.
  • 5.5-days work week.
