We are looking for a Director, Field Marketing - APJ to lead our Marketing organization located in the Asia Pacific & Japan region, reporting to the global vice president of Field Marketing. In this role, you will lead a team that is charged with bringing creativity and a fresh approach to acquiring, driving, and nurturing leads and accelerating existing opportunities. You will also partner closely with the Field Sales teams and the Corporate, Digital, and Product Marketing teams to roll out marketing programs aligned to sales priorities and revenue targets.

What you’ll do:
- Lead the Marketing function across APJ and act as a key partner to the regional vice president to establish marketing priorities that align to sales priorities.
- Ensure each Field Marketing team member embraces and drives a well-defined marketing plan aligned to in-country sales priorities.
- Drive opportunity generation and pipeline acceleration, including demand generation campaigns, field events, trade shows, digital programs, direct mail, telemarketing, and partner programs.
- Collaborate with Sales and Channel teams to oversee the timely execution of Field Marketing programs.
- Regularly monitor and assess Marketing performance against plan, manage metrics to demonstrate ROI against Marketing program budget, and track the success of programs.
- Own and manage budget and spend, and work with the Marketing team to create a quarterly marketing investment plan for the region.
- Coach and develop team members and ensure they each have a development plan and career path.
What you’ll bring:
- 15 years of experience in the enterprise technology solutions industry in a sales-supporting marketing role and expertise in a wide variety of demand generation tactics.
- Passion for technology, with direct experience working with information security, SaaS, or at an enterprise networking company.
- A player-coach approach with 5+ years of experience managing high performing and deeply experienced teams.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work within the extended team, effectively communicating and partnering with all business groups, including Marketing, PR, Sales, and Channels.
- Solid Salesforce experience and good understanding of Market, Bizible, and Tableau.
- A desire to learn, contribute, and think innovatively.
- Team spirit, a sense of fun, high energy, and a can-do attitude.
- Effective and impactful communication skills—strong command of spoken and written English is a must.
What success looks like:
After six months, you will…
- Be aligned with the regional Sales team on key priorities.
- Contribute to the creation of a broad APJ marketing plan and sub regional plans.
- Understand the metrics of the region and how to analyze dashboards and data and use that data to report out ROI.
- Understand key channel partners and be engaging those partners to drive end user demand gen programs.
- Have a strong working relationship with your key stakeholders inside and outside of Marketing.
After about a year, you will…
- Deliver against the pipeline and bookings targets for the region.
- Establish yourself as a key contributor to the APJ business.
- Have a clear vision and plan to drive Marketing-led growth in collaboration with Sales.
