Job description

The Role:
Lead the planning and execution of development and upgrade projects for the venue. This individual will also manage the facilities team and vendors to ensure ongoing operational readiness, preventive maintenance, and the long-term sustainability of the property.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic planning, budgeting, and execution of all development, renovation, and expansion initiatives.

  • Manage the full project lifecycle—from concept and approvals to procurement, scheduling, and quality control.

  • Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure optimal operational readiness of the facilities.

  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

  • Champion innovation in energy efficiency, smart building technologies, sustainability, and asset management.

  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal departments—including Engineering, Housekeeping, F&B, and Operations—to drive ongoing facility improvements and support business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in facilities development and management, ideally within the hospitality, events, or commercial property sectors.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Certifications in Green Mark, Fire Safety, or Sustainability practices are a strong advantage.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience overseeing external facilities service providers.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • In-depth knowledge of building systems, sustainability frameworks, and project management methodologies.
