About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Leader with a strong product development background to be part of our delivery team. This individual will be responsible for:

1. Building engineering teams with a product mindset
2. Instilling a DNA of engineering excellence
3. Fostering a continuous improvement mindset within the organization

This position will play a pivotal role in our ability to scale key account(s) in India. Ideally, the candidate will be located in Hyderabad or Bengaluru.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a technical leadership role, managing large teams of developers, with exceptional people management skills, hands-on development and design experience. They should have a deep understanding of agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and be comfortable with technical and business aspects. Willingness to get involved in hands-on work is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strategize the Delivery Management function within EPAM India
• Manage diverse project teams ensuring client satisfaction and project quality
• Focus on client engagement and managing expectations
• Foster engineering excellence and best practices in software development and project management
• Contribute to pre-sales activities including project estimations and proposals
• Promote modern delivery approaches, automation, and cloud enablement
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver enterprise solutions across industries
• Support continuous learning and innovation within teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in IT or related field
• 20+ years in the IT services industry
• 10+ years in project delivery leadership, managing large programs
• Experience in P&L management, architecture, and solution design
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven customer relationship and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of digital technologies and innovations
• Proficiency in English (C1 level)

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Java and .NET
• Experience in Retail domain
• Relevant certifications (PMP, CSM, SAFe, etc.)
