Director, Cybersecurity Strategy & Policy

Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to shape Whole-of-Government (WoG) cybersecurity strategies, policies and governance. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, align initiatives with national objectives and coordinate with agencies to deliver strategic outcomes.

You will develop long-range roadmaps, manage resource planning and funding, and provide executive-level briefings. A strong track record in policy, strategy and cross-government engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Infocomm Security, Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering or Information Technology preferred.
• Experience in leading and grooming teams of high-performing individuals.
• CISSP and/or CISA certifications would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats and trends and related technologies.
• 5–6 years of civil service-related work experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with statistical methods and econometrics would be an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Singapore Citizen only.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and refinement of WoG cybersecurity strategies, policies and programmes.
• Provide leadership across policy, operations, engineering and governance teams.
• Drive resource planning, business cases and funding proposals for WoG cybersecurity capabilities.
• Develop and review governance frameworks for consistency and efficiency.
• Oversee strategic initiatives, transformation programmes and performance monitoring.
• Build alignment with agencies, stakeholders and external partners.
• Provide executive support through high-quality reports, papers and briefings.
• Represent GovTech in cross-government, industry and international engagements.
