Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Director, Customer Sales Engineering APAC to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within an organization that values growth, teamwork, and professional development.

What You’ll Do

As a Director, Customer Sales Engineering, you will lead a team across Asia-Pacific, supporting business growth by mentoring engineers, understanding customer needs, and providing technical solutions. Your responsibilities include customer technical support, leading demos, influencing market requirements, and driving sales through technical expertise and leadership.

Responsibilities Include
  • Managing the sales engineering team in APAC, including staff development and performance reviews
  • Fostering teamwork and a positive team environment
  • Providing technical pre-sales support and customer engagement
  • Shaping product and service offerings based on customer needs
  • Utilizing technical knowledge to address customer questions and support sales
  • Representing as a technical expert and thought leader
  • Communicating capabilities and market requirements to drive product development
  • Overseeing bid responses and customer demonstrations
  • Educating customers about our products and services
  • Supporting revenue growth through customer engagement and project management
  • Defining team and personal objectives
What You’ll Need
  • BSc/BEng in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Extensive experience in technical solutions for the carrier and enterprise sectors
  • Strong knowledge of data network solutions, traffic management, QoS, and network security
  • Knowledge of network routing, slicing, and 3GPP/LTE systems (an advantage)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Creativity and solution-focused mindset
  • Willingness to travel internationally with cultural awareness
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including sales engineering or product leadership
  • Understanding of telco challenges, industry experience preferred
