Job Responsibilities :
- To independently review and assess various types of credit applications, including private credit and any other similar types of business submitted by business units; preapre concise executive summary to seek approval from relevant authorities.
- To establish action plan for credits likely to deteriorate in order to minimize credit costs.
- To manage and maintain the accuracy of registration of credit monitoring system and client database, and to instruct business units to modify data if necessary.
- To conduct credit portfolio analysis in terms of countries, corporate groups, industry commodity / segments, currency risks, internal grading, type of financial product, etc. from time to time.
- To monitor and proactively control credit exposures for increased concern on concentration risks, in cooperation with other relevant teams / departments.To support development the credit risk taking guideline and framework including but not limited to grading methodology and portfolio management for the private credit business in collaboration with the relevant departments.
- To discuss direction of potential deals with business units following credit policy and credit risk appetite.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- No approval authority will be given initially, but will be considered in future depending on performance and experience.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree; with experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, credit risk management.
- 7-10 years’ experience in credit analysis / credit approval department in banking is essential. Credit analysis for structured credit and related business is highly preferred.
- Strong credit analysis and due diligence skills, and able to prepare clear and concise credit recommendations.
- Excellent organizing and planning skills. Team player attributes.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
