Job summary

EXPECTO HEALTH SCIENCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Clinical Project Leader to provide strategic oversight for Phase I–IV trials and development programs across regions.

You will lead multiple concurrent projects, ensuring milestones, timelines, budgets, and quality metrics are met. You will foster effective cross-functional collaboration with operations, data management, statistics, medical writing, and regulatory affairs; manage stakeholder relationships, participate in governance, and drive process

Qualifications

• Experience leading clinical trials across multiple regions.
• Strong understanding of ICH-GCP, FDA/EMA/MHRA regulations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight for phase I-IV trials and clinical development programs across regions.
• Lead project governance meetings, executive reviews, and sponsor discussions.
• Mentor Clinical Project Managers and study teams; build high-performance culture.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, and resource planning; ensure financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and inspection readiness.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical Writing, Regulatory Affairs, and PV.

Clinical Project Leadership

• Provide strategic oversight and leadership for Phase I-IV clinical trials and clinical development programs.
• Lead multiple concurrent clinical projects across regions and therapeutic areas.
• Ensure study milestones, timelines, budgets, and quality metrics are achieved.
• Develop and implement project management best practices, SOPs, and operational processes.
• Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as senior point of contact for sponsors, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Lead project governance meetings, executive reviews, and strategic discussions.
• Foster strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and business growth.
• Support proposal development, bid defenses, and business development initiatives.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop Clinical Project Managers and study teams.
• Create a high-performance culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Build future leadership capabilities within the organization.

Financial & Resource Management

• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and resource planning.
• Monitor project financial performance and profitability.
• Collaborate with finance and operational leaders to optimize resource allocation.
• Ensure accurate project tracking and reporting.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA, MHRA, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Oversee inspection readiness and audit preparedness.
• Support CAPA implementation and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical Writing, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and Business Development teams.
• Drive effective communication across departments to ensure seamless study execution.
• Support organizational initiatives focused on innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence.
