We are looking for a Dynamic Partner Sales Leader to help us grow our partner business, develop a thriving partner ecosystem, and lead our team of partner sales managers across Asia (including ASEAN, North Asia, Korea). This role offers the opportunity to leverage your leadership, motivational, and strategic skills to make a significant impact on how businesses operate.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing strategic partnerships and driving revenue within our partner ecosystem.
- Coordinating sales and services through indirect channels, including resellers, distributors, and cloud partners.
- Operationalizing new routes-to-market with cloud providers and Managed Service Providers.
- Understanding and evolving the business models within the existing and new partner ecosystems.
- Creating short-term execution plans and long-term growth strategies.
- Engaging in sales activities such as marketing, training, and promotions in collaboration with partners.
Reporting to: GVP, APAC GTM Ecosystem, establishing relationships with sales teams, partners, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute the Asia Partner business plan aligned with overall regional strategy.
- Lead and expand joint sales pipelines across various partner types.
- Recruit, onboard, and motivate new partners, developing business across Southeast Asia, Korea, and North Asia.
- Develop joint value propositions and business plans with success metrics.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to develop partner enablement programs.
- Introduce partners to Splunk’s sales, marketing, and services teams, and manage joint marketing initiatives.
- Define partner business plans with Managed Partners and Big Bet partners, aligning with client management models.
- Drive accountability with KPIs such as pipeline development, new logos, renewals, and expansion.
- Maintain regular governance and strategic discussions with senior management.
- Foster cross-functional engagement and build a motivated team with career development plans.
Required Skills:
- Extensive successful sales leadership, preferably in software/services, with proven quota overachievement.
- At least 15 years of channel sales experience in the technology industry.
- Proven ability to develop relationships with executive leadership in Tier 1 and 2 channel partners across APAC.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate dispersed teams and achieve targets.
- Experience in recruiting, retaining, and developing talent.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage at the executive level.
- Deep industry knowledge and experience in building channel partnerships.
- Ability to articulate business issues and the value proposition of Splunk.
