Job Title: Director Business Intelligence (BI)Location: Bangalore / MumbaiJob Description:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Leader to join our team. As the BI Leader, you will be responsible for establishing and leading our BI initiatives, building a strong BI team, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to define KPIs, optimize processes for data capture, and deliver actionable insights through effective dashboards and reports.The ability to collaborate cross-functionally, including excellent communication skills, is a must. You will oversee the Business Intelligence function, building a team of data analysts, business intelligence analysts, and business intelligence developers to realize business value from our data, and laying the foundation of tooling and metrics for the functional areas and executive teams.Key Responsibilities: Understand the Business: Develop a deep understanding of Black Boxs business needs, data architecture, and data literacy to build data products that enable the business to make decisions quickly and confidently. Build the Foundation: Establish and lead a Center of Excellence (COE) for Business Intelligence. Recruit, train, and manage a team of BI analysts and developers. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Work with business and IT teams to implement process changes necessary for capturing KPI data. Partner with IT to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into BI systems. Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports tailored to business needs. Ensure dashboards provide clear insights into performance metrics and support strategic decision-making. Forecasting and Trends: Utilize predictive analytics to forecast trends and support future planning. Implement models and algorithms to analyze historical data and predict future outcomes. Data Insights by Functional Domain: Segment and analyze data by functional areas (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) to provide targeted insights. Collaborate with functional leaders to drive performance improvements and operational efficiencies. Path from Predictive to Perspective: Evolve analytics capabilities from predictive to prescriptive, providing actionable recommendations. Foster a data-driven culture by promoting the use of BI insights for strategic initiatives and operational improvements. Self-Driven: Roll up your sleeves and create your own analyses, including leading ad hoc investigations when performance or other issues arrive, coordinating multiple functions to find the solutionQualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Proven experience 5 years in leading BI initiatives, including team management and strategic planning. Strong technical skills in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts. Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.,
