Role Summary:-

Director, Business Development, Asia

  • Engage with current Institutional clients, prospects and consultants in S.E. Asia to drive new business growth across all IFM Investors products.
  • Contribute to sales strategy for liked-minded Institutional investor groups in Asia.
  • Adeptly manage external and internal stakeholders.
  • Research Private Wealth Sector / IFM possibilities of entering this channel.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Internal liaison / communication with GCS teams.

Experience

  • 10+ Years in similar role with proven record of success
  • The Candidate should have Enterprise and Leadership Capabilities.

Qualifications – Tertiary qualification in commerce, economics or related field

Business knowledge

  • Proven track record of raising capital from Asia clients
  • Understanding of key competitors, and market trends and translating those into emerging product requirements for IFM
  • Ability to develop and originate new client and consultant relationships and nurture existing relationships to drive sales

Technical knowledge

  • Investment market knowledge across Equities, Fixed Income, Infrastructure Equity and Private Equity
  • Strong sales skills and process
