Job Title: Director / Associate Director, Compliance (MAS liaison and brokerageexp,preferred)

Responsibilities:

Due to strong growth in Singapore, a newly created Director / Associate Director of Compliance is required, and he/she will oversee the compliance function in Singapore and advise on all Singapore-related compliance and regulatory matters, including but not limited to:

  • Acting as the primary liaison to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), exchanges, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Researching, interpreting, and advising on compliance with laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to brokers in Singapore.
  • Managing the implementation and maintenance of strategies and frameworks to comply with MAS and exchange requirements for all regulated activities.
  • Assisting in drafting instructions for programmers and technology staff to facilitate necessary changes due to regulatory updates or requirements.
  • Drafting and implementing firm policies and written supervisory procedures.
  • Managing all relevant regulatory inspections and audits (internal and external), including developing and executing remedial action plans for any findings.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize tasks and work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient with technology and its application in business and regulatory contexts.
