Job description

Inizio Ignite is the global advisory partner for health and life sciences, encompassing connected expertise across Research Partnership, Putnam, Vynamic, and STEM. Guided by purpose, passion, and precision, we collaborate with clients to ignite impact, accelerate performance, and deliver lasting change for patients. By uniting strategy, insights, and innovation with a unique depth and breadth of expertise, we drive transformation and shape the future of health.

Our Research Partnership healthcare market research team provides research and insights to inform and power healthcare decisions. Serving clients across the lifecycle, our expertise includes data, research & insights (proprietary syndicated and custom research) and brand tracking (ATU). Proudly part of Inizio, we simplify complexity, unlock value and support confident, insight-driven decisions that move innovation forward.

About the team

The Singapore team operates as an APAC hub, working closely with colleagues across Europe and Asia. Within the team, this role sits at the heart of the Major Tracking Programs Center of Excellence, supporting the delivery of complex, multi-market quantitative brand tracking programs for global pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

This Director role is primarily focused on senior delivery leadership and quality oversight for a major APAC quantitative brand tracking program (approximately US$ 5m in annual value), spanning multiple markets, therapy areas and waves of research. The role will ensure that core program deliverables - particularly questionnaires, dashboards and PowerPoint reports - are consistently accurate, insightful, aligned across markets and delivered to a high standard. The program also incorporates innovative methods, automation and AI-enabled approaches.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Head of APAC, you will act as a key lieutenant to the Director, Program Lead for the major tracking program: sitting above individual Therapy Area (TA) teams and providing day-to-day senior leadership, translating program strategy into execution, and serving as a senior quality gate across the program. You will coordinate teams, identify and resolve delivery issues, and step in as a senior point of contact to maintain momentum, consistency and quality.

Your primary role
  • Partner with the Senior Director and Director, Program Lead to provide senior leadership for the major APAC tracking program, with a particular focus on delivery excellence, quality control and consistency across markets, therapy areas and waves.
  • Act as a trusted lieutenant to the Director, Program Lead, converting overall program direction into clear priorities, coordinated execution and consistent quality standards across therapy-area and delivery teams.
  • Provide senior day-to-day oversight across multiple waves, markets and workstreams, proactively identifying delivery and quality risks, resolving issues and escalating material decisions appropriately to the Director, Program Lead and Senior Director.
  • Act as a senior quality gate for key tracking-program deliverables, reviewing outputs before client delivery and ensuring they are accurate, consistent, strategically relevant and aligned with agreed research objectives and program standards.
  • Lead quality control of questionnaires across waves and markets, ensuring research objectives are translated accurately into questionnaire design, changes are applied consistently, routing and logic are robust, and materials are ready for client approval and fieldwork.
  • Oversee the quality of dashboard deliverables, partnering with research, analytics and dashboard teams to ensure data, metrics, visualisations and commentary are accurate, intuitive and aligned with the agreed analytical framework.
  • Review and shape PowerPoint reports and other client-facing outputs, ensuring a clear narrative, accurate interpretation of data, strong linkage to client business questions, consistency across markets and therapy areas, and actionable insights.
  • Manage and nurture relationships across key client stakeholders, including business intelligence and commercial / brand teams, ensuring feedback is translated into action and delivery meets expectations, remains on scope and evolves in line with joint ambitions.
  • Work closely with research excellence, analytics, dashboard and delivery teams to embed robust review processes, clear ownership and effective quality assurance throughout the end-to-end tracking workflow.
  • Drive consistency across geographically distributed and offshore teams, establishing clear standards, templates, review checkpoints and ways of working for recurring program deliverables.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and line management to mid-level staff, building strong tracking, quality-control and client-management capabilities within the team.
  • Champion continuous improvement, automation and responsible use of AI to strengthen quality, reduce manual error and improve the speed and impact of tracking-program delivery.
About You...
Your skills and experience
  • At least 10 years of experience in quantitative primary market research, with significant experience in the healthcare / pharmaceutical industry.
  • Deep quantitative research expertise, with demonstrable experience leading complex, multi-market brand equity tracking, ATU or other longitudinal research programs.
  • Ideally, you will have experience partnering with advanced analytics experts to utilize statistical methods within quantitative projects
  • Strong hands-on experience reviewing and quality assuring core quantitative research deliverables, including questionnaires, dashboards and PowerPoint reports.
  • Excellent research judgement and attention to detail, with the ability to identify questionnaire, data, analytical, visualisation and reporting issues before outputs reach clients.
  • Significant experience leading projects autonomously and managing senior client relationships throughout the lifecycle of a complex research program.
  • Experience with long-term planning across multiple waves of research and coordinating multiple workstreams, markets, therapy areas and stakeholder groups.
  • Proven ability to operate as a senior deputy: comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day leadership while staying closely aligned with an overall Program Lead and escalating decisions with sound judgement.
  • Expertise in collaborating with teams across geographies, including offshore delivery partners.
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, including AI, automation and innovative approaches to insight delivery; direct exposure is preferred.
Ideal profile
  • You are proactive, dedicated and enthusiastic, with a can-do approach and the confidence to take ownership.
  • You combine strategic perspective with strong operational discipline, accuracy, attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation.
  • You partner effectively with senior- and junior-level colleagues, coaching colleagues and inspiring them to deliver effectively
  • You are a collaborative leader who builds trust with clients and colleagues and works effectively across functions and geographies.
  • You communicate ideas, priorities, risks and issues in an effective and straightforward way.
  • You are comfortable influencing without relying on hierarchy and can act as a credible extension of senior program leadership.
  • You are highly motivated to develop new skills, strengthen the team and contribute to the growth of the Singapore and APAC business.

We love what we do and continuously strive for innovation and creativity. We believe everyone should continuously be learning and provide:

  • A comprehensive training and development programme for staff at all levels.
  • A relaxed, friendly and collaborative working environment.
  • Social events, including team activities and end-of-year celebrations, alongside regular informal events.
