A leading company in the manufacturing sector seeks a Digital Transformation Lead to enhance operations through digital initiatives. The role involves strategic planning, managing projects, and driving innovation via technologies like AI, IoT, and cloud computing, ensuring collaboration across teams for successful implementation.
Purpose:
As the Digital Transformation Lead, you will spearhead the strategic planning and execution of digital initiatives across the organization. Your mission is to modernize operations, enhance productivity, and drive innovation by leveraging digital technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and ensure successful adoption of digital tools and processes in a contract manufacturing environment.
Key Area of Responsibilities:
Drive and Lead organization digital transformation strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
Research, Evaluate, Identify and Implement emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, RPA, cloud computing etc.
Drive end-to-end digital transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery, effective risk management, and prioritization based on business case impact.
Collaborate with internal teams, VDL Corporate IT, and external partners to implement digital solutions, analyze business processes, and define functional requirements.
Assess stakeholders' requirements, develop and implement BI and automation solutions to achieve the highest value-added outcome in enhancing process efficiency.
Leverage data to drive decision-making, track performance, and ensure alignment with business strategic KPIs.
Ensure digital initiatives are secure and compliant by implementing strong cybersecurity measures, protecting intellectual property (IP), and collaborating with IT to manage digital risks.
Ensure solutions are sustainable, scalable, secure and aligned with business needs.
Equip the organization with the skills to adopt new digital tools, foster a culture of innovation, and support continuous improvement across the organization.
Qualification & Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Minimum 3 years experience in digital transformation or related roles, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong understanding of digital technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, RPA, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
Experience in managing projects, including risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholder
Ability to analyze data and processes to identify areas for improvement and measure the impact of digital initiatives.
Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during the digital transformation process
Hands-on experience with Power BI, Power App, Power Automate and Microsoft Excel. Proficient in SQL and Excel VBA.
Certifications such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma are advantageous.
